Why I Hate GPT Sites

.

I can’t tell you how many times I have read a blog about making money and it is full of referral links to different GPT (Get Paid To) sites. I don’t mind signing up through a referral link, but you can’t make real money on those sites. Most of the time there are the same offers on each site, and you can only complete each offer or trial once, so it is pointless to join a bunch of different sites. Plus, I don’t want to sign up for a lot of trials and forget to cancel them. GPT sites are time consuming and you can end up spending more than you actually earn.

That being said, I do love Swagbucks (referral link). It is the most popular site of its kind and there is much more to do on it than just GPT offers. There are special codes, games, polls, surveys (which I also hate to do), videos, radio (you can do this in the background while you do other things), shopping and an app that you can use on the go. I use this site casually, and make a few dollars a month. However, I know that if I dedicated more time to it, I could make more money.

My favorite site to make money (besides my own blog) is a blogging site called myLot (not a referral link). This is a site where you can make money writing posts about just about anything. You also make money by interacting with other users on the site. I love the community that this site offers. It really is unlike any other.  It pays more than GPT sites, but not more than you can make by running your own blog. However, having your own blog requires a lot more time and money to start. Right now, I do both.

I may not have created the perfect system to making a full time income online, but I am working on it. I know that I am definitely on the right path, and I will soon get there. However, I know that GPT sites are not a part of that plan.
What do you think? Are GPT sites worth it? What is your favorite GPT site?
